Playing Catch UP

So as you can tell I am not a great blogger! I hope to get better this summer. I want this to be a place where you can follow this great family of mine. We have lots of crazy days and plenty of chill days as well.

Larry is off to Tulsa for a conference and I am here with just the 2 dogs and Chesleigh. She is a working teenager with no desire to get her drivers license (we are going to fix this problem this summer). The kiddos will be back on Sunday and then we are off and running. Tennis.baseball,VBS and swimming are all in the plans. Here are a few pics of the busy last few months of school.

Spring Break 2013

Well it has been a very short one for me! I have been soooo sick. Glad that I got to the Dr. at the start! It is Saturday and I am still feeling ucky but better! Kiddos are at the EX's and Gram is getting ready to leave. Having Gram was such a sweet time. She even cooked for us  to have left overs and Sunday dinner! We are blessed! Ready for a wonderful week with the kiddos in 2nd grade! Hope everyone has a great week!

Saturday!

Well we made it! It is Saturday and this is my last weekend in Retail! I hope it is forever! Retail hrs and a large family do not mix well. I am excited to get back to being a mom and wife. I miss cooking and cleaning. I know crazy but I do. I miss being my husbands BFF. This is the goal for the next few months, get in shape and be his partner! Hope you have a wondeful weekend!

Open mouth insert foot!

Well I must admit something that I am sure everyone already knows about me. I have a big mouth! I love to talk! I have passed this problem down to my Ava and wish I had not, but God has a great since of humor! FB has not helped me a all! I tend to put how I am feeling without a filter! I am going to try and quit using FB as a way to vent.My goal in 2013 is to keep my thoughts and feelings to myself. The other problem I have is I expect others to have some kind of niceness about them. I am so dang nice and expect it back. This is killing me. I worry about it all the time. I do not like mean people! My next goal this year is to go back to Church. I pray all day but I feel so horrible not going,  I have a mini panic attack at the thought of going. Not anything like I used to be. I at one time in my life had a very close relationship with God but in the last 4 years I get so nervous at church. Yep the woman who never meets a stranger has social anxieties!Any ideas on how to fix this! I am all ears!

Crazy Summer!

Well it has been a bit crazy here at the Lewis house this summer. The kiddos were gone for a month and now are home!! I miss them sooo very much when they are gone that long!

Excited that we are gonna be grandparents again in Jan. Wish they lived close so we could spoil the babies and the parents, but one can dream!

Larry starts his new job on Monday! He is very excited and so are we for him. Looking for a Farm to buy this year will be so much fun! We will stay put here for the year and hope to buy this time next year!!

Nick and Logan are here for a cook out so I better get busy! Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Celiac disease has taught me how to eat better!!

This diagnosis of Celiac disease has been a tough one, however it has been good for my health. Went to the Dr. this week and I got all meds cut in half! I have not had a normal cholesterol report since I was a teen. Not only is that great but my BP was normal!! My A1C was normal and that is just a miracle. So all that being said, tomorrow is a new day for the Lewis house hold. I will begin training for a 5K. I am also starting a new gluten free shake regime. Larry is going on  South Beach because he likes that and is comfortable with the program. Wish us luck!!!
