My Ava got the part of Darla!!

Ava Grace is working on her theatrical debut! She got the part of Darla in her Drama camp play!! She is sooooo excited!!! Her play will be on Thursday and I will post pics then!! Break a leg Ava!

New Job/Jobs!

Well not to brag but I now have 2 jobs!! The first one is Asst Manager at a Gourmet Chef Store! The second one is working at Forney ISD with Special Education. This one starts when school starts!! My hope is that I can do both without causing health issues!! We shall see!!!

3 kids are home and are sooooo bored!!! Larry is off and now the honey do list is now being worked on!! I hope!!

Logan is at Forte and I have no idea how he is since he will not text me!! I guess he is really going for the part of I am an adult!! We shall see when he starts paying for his own phone!!!

Summer is here and so is the HEAT!

Walked out the door this morining expecting it to be cool like 70 but no it was at least 90! Chesleigh is off the church camp, Logan is off to some guard tour (no job), Ava and Sam are still at their dads and I miss them! I am still waiting on the phone call so I can start my new job!! Just waiting on paper work!! Larry is still at work until July 8th!! The first day of summer!!!

VBS!!!

Did I mention that I signed up for 4th grade boys? What? 15 4th grade boys!!! 2 days down 3 to go!!! Really they have been fun!!! God has sure been busy in our lives this week!!! Just so you know I do not like waiting!!! So he has fixed it all in one Monday!!! I think I have the 2 jobs that I wanted and I am just waiting for the final offers!!!!! We shall see!!!

Summer is Here!!!

Summer is finally here and it is HOT!!! Amiee and Kevin are husband and wife, Logan graduated HS, Ches is at Cheer camp, Sam and Ava are with their dad and I am looking for a job!!! I think we have 10 more boxes left to unpack and then we can say we are all moved in!! I hope!!! Larry is loving his job right now! NO kids and he can walk home for lunch!!! Well he drove home for lunch!

My mom dropped Ches off at the bus for cheer camp and then made her way to Houston!! We miss her when she is gone. So far the summer is great I hope it stays that way!! VBS next week and I get to teach the 4th grade boys!!!

WOW!!

Well, I now have a 18 year old son!!! He now needs to get a job and move out!! I told him not to unpack that he can do that in La. He is planning on going to NSU!!! Let's hope he makes enough money this summer to do that!

We bought our first home together!! My first home!!! Still unpacking but I have settled in for now, will burn the rest!!! I wish!!

Chesleigh made the HS JV cheer squad and passed her taks!!! She has a new boyfriend that just happens to live 2 doors down from us!!

Sam the man is 7 today!!! He is growing up way to fast!!!

Ava is just ready for school to be out!! She is excited to go to new school next year!! She had 2 MEAN little girls in her class this year and welcomes the change!!!

Larry and I went our first marriage retreat and had a ball!!! I am looking for God to place me a job that will glorify him as well as provide the money that we need to get ahead!!

Stress

The last 2 weeks have been so stressful! On Easter Sunday we lost a wonderful man and pastor. He was my pastor for 28 years. My heart breaks for his wife and his family. I was his "adopted daughter" who loved him dearly. His 3 boys are all grown but I think that makes it harder. I was their babysitter!!! Then on the 15th my children's Granny Joyce passed away suddenly. She was such a Godly woman and she was my friend. Death is such a hard thing for little ones to grasp. I take comfort that it was a wonderful time to share the good news of salvation again with my children and ease the fear of death. Sadness and heavy hearts are hard to heal, but knowing that we will see them all again is a great comfort.

Today I am sad that my daddy was taken to heaven on this day 2006, but I cannot wait to see him again!!!

On a happy note we are moving to a wonderful home in Terrell!!! Next week!! Talk about STRESS!!! It all came together so fast so I really feel that God wants us in Terrell! Please pray for my stress!! It causes my diabetes to go crazy!!

Long Time no Blog!!:)

Well Amanda, you started it!!!! I know it has been a while but I will try to do it more often! Life is going so fast right now!! Graduating Senior, New house, no job (intentional), Ches is a JV Chearleader and going to be freshmen, Ava twirling at state comp, Sam being the best soccer player with new glasses!!! OMG!!! I am tired just looking at all this. That is just my 4! Kevin and Aimee are getting married in between all this!!! We are so excited for them and cannot wait!!! We get to see Amanda soon!!! Ok that is it for now!!!
