Made it to the 27th!

Well we made it to the 27th! I know you are wondering how we did well, here goes. Larry my Saint of a Husband kept me busy. This is the very first Christmas that I have ever spent without Kids or any family.So I am patting myself on the back for surviving till now. We did get just one kiddo back today due to her having a "Social Life". I guess Chesleigh almost being 16 is entilled to have one. We hope to get all the kiddos back on the 31st but for some reason in the pit of my stomach it feels like it won't happen, so we shall see.

The stress of the past 8 weeks has really taken a hard toll on my mind,body and spirit. Mind wise Larry takes care of by keeping me busy and his ever so up beat attitude. Body is really suffered by gaining at least 10 pounds and that really sucks!!!! Spirit is in 2 ways been affected, I sometimes miss the bubbly person I was back then those long  ago days 8 weeks before the day my life changed forever. And the one thing that I loved was going to Church and now when we go all I can do is cry. Sad but true.


I hope all that read had a wonderful Christmas and will have a wonderful New year!! Keep us posted so I don't get bored!!!

Well it has been a very interesting 3 weeks. Not sure if the bad part is over yet, time will tell. Never in a million years would I have ever dreamed that my own child would try something so dangerous to himself and to put his family and friends in such a state of confusion. I am the first to admit that I may have not been the best mom, but once upon a time I could and would have said that the only thing that I do best is being a mom. Some how along the way I messed up Logan along with his lifestyle choice and lack of God in his life did not help. If you read this please pray that he can make it to Jan without tying that again. I cannot bear to imagine our lives without him in it. I always thought it would get easier when they grew up, but I would much rather have my little on back so I can fix all his problems.

Loving Life

Well now that football is over we can get a little bit done around here! Like family dinner and a clean house for starters!!! I am off tomorrow and plan on being a cleaning machine!! Hope to get the kids in gear to help but I won't hold my breath!!!

Me+ Diet= zero lbs down!!

So frustrated!! I have no will power!!! The problem is not the food it is just eating enough. It is so easy to just not eat! Old bad habit!! I have learned to not listen to my body. Walking would be so nice but it is 95 degrees even in the evening. On a budget so a gym is not an option. The stress of all that is going on here, I would love to find a yoga class. Excuses, Excuses!!! To top it all I somehow hurt my back and cannot move!!! Satan is testing me and I am failing!!! Ok so to plan B nope no crying!!! Back to plan A get off my hinney and do it!! Ok here we go again!!!

Ok so today is June 1st and I am so not into this!! I need will power! I have none!!! Ok so here it is and well I guess I have no option but to get moving!!! Wish us luck!!!

June 1st!

Ok so I have not taken to this Gluten free Crap!! Well, my body says something else!! So sick of being sick!!! So this is the last weekend of allergic reactions to food!! June 1st is the day!!! Wish me luck!! I am so set in my ways and on a budget!! I pray I can do it!!

They Grow up so Fast!!

She is growing up so fast!! She looks just like me at this age. So proud of her!!

My Husband is a Saint if we had them in our Religon!

Well today was my second day at the High School as a sub and I now know my husband who does this everyday is a Saint! I know he deals with the knuckle heads that come to his office daily and a fair amount of them come to him when there is a sub, but I will have you know that I did not send a one to him the last 2 days!! There were a few words in Spanish and English that I know would have landed them there with their regular teacher but I have a new moto!! Let it go!!! I am not there to teach I am there to make sure that everyone is alive at 4pm!

Monday's take them or leave them!

Would love to leave them. Spent 4 hours last night in the ER with Ava. She fell off her bike on her way home from school and landed on her arm. After Poppie got home we hung out with interesting people at the small town of Terrell ER. I am so glad that Larry was with me, I almost went Steal Magnolia's on those people!! No air and a lot of non emergency people there!! The end result was a splint and very tired parents! She did not break it as far as the antiquated XRay said but they want us to go to the ortho in 7 to 10 days to make sure there is no break after the swelling goes down.

We are hanging on the couch watching Sweet Home Alabama!! I have a wonderful cold!!

When does it get easy?

Really, I am now 38 years old and have no idea when life gets easier. I know that God has a plan and most days I look forward to what he does because let's face it he can do things in a much better way than I can! I find that all my body issues physical and health wise are just gone to a place that makes me sick, or more sick than I already am (THANKS DNA). Will power has settled into great bouts of depression. I am tired all the time! Which my Saint of a husband deals with, with great adoration and love. Anyone have suggestions on how to get out of this funk? I know diet and exercise is key , but when you don't want to get out of bed except for your duties as a wife and mother it is hard to do. I find that some days I forget to eat which is hell on a diabetic. Panic sets in when I think I have to go in front of people. And if you know me at all you know I love people!!

Any suggestions on a good gluten free diet and how to get off meds for diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol would be greatly appreciated.

Change is coming

Praying for a great outcome with the meeting that Larry has today with TISD after school!

I finally got all my ducks in a row to start sub teaching!

Kiddos are all growing like weeds!! Logan has a job in Stephenville at Wal Mart and seems to be doing well.
Chesleigh just made JV Cheerleader and is trying out for Head next Friday.
Ava is enjoying all her field trips!
Sam is so excited for his camp out trip with Poppie to Fossil Rim tomorrow! Pray for Larry over 40 kids and a long bus trip! :)

Easter is here and so is a new chapter in Life!

Made it back to God's country! We had a wonderful time getting to be grandparents. Grandad and Grammy K are happy to change diapers anytime they need us! Big shoes to fill with being Grandad and Grammy K. We both have fond memories of the one's who have passed on the titles!

Charlie is AMAZING! Amanda is the most beautiful mom! She is such a natural!! Wish we were a little closer to see and help out more.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week and take a moment to reflect on the this season of life and how God made all of this possible. I am so thankful for his death and his resurrection so that we may have an eternal life with him.

NYC Here we come!

Crazy!!! We are heading to NYC tomorrow morning!! Charlie and Amanda will get very spoiled!!!

I don't like animals!

OK I love babies and sometimes I like my teenagers but this dang dog! Just when I think that it is ok to have just one now he goes and gets into the trash and not in the kitchen! He takes the kitchen trash can and all the contents into the living room! Wishing that he was an out door dog! He may be after today! Sorry for the venting but dang dog!

WOW!

Well the weekend started with a birthday party for one of Sam's soccer buddies at CiCi's pizza then over to the Bommer Jacks with some parents for adult beverages!! Boy this morning was crazy!! Larry hit what he recalls being the snooze button so at 7:22 we all began the OMG gotta get moving party!! He got to the job fair and dropped Sam at his game and I took Ches and Julia to Bliss for hair appts for cheer, then I went to CPR training! By the way I can use an AED to shock people now!I have a card and everything!! Ches and Julia made the JV cheerleading squad! Now I am trying to talk my hubby into date night! He is taking a nap!! I know I am a handful!! Ches has movie plans with a new guy!! I told her Poppie will be sitting right in the middle! She says no way! Wonder what Grandad would say? Never mind he would have gone to eat catfish and sent Kory to keep an eye on me! Well you are updated!! Hope you can talk someone into date night!!

Ready! Set! Go!

I am not the best at this blogging but hope to get better!! Busy weekend!! Sam has a game at 9am, Larry has Job Fair at 8am, Chesleigh has hair apt at 8 am for cheer tryouts and I have CPR training at 8 am. Thank goodness it is all in Terrell!! Poor Ava just gets to ride along!! Her time is coming!! Hope you all have wonderful weekend!

Oh how life changes!!

First let me tell you that we are grandparents!!! Baby Charlie took his time getting here but he finally did! Thank you Vin and Amanda for such a wonderful gift!

Second I am now at home full time and I love it. My health was really going down hill very fast! Now I am up to walking 3 miles every day and that has seemed to help. Diabetes is not as easy to keep under control with a stressful job. After lots of prayer and many sleepless nights, Larry and I have decided this might be the best thing for us right now. We know God has a plan and he will let us know what we need to do.We both are on a path that we had gotten off of and that was getting having a closer relationship with God. My prayer is that with this new path we will learn to hear and respond to God first before we try to fix things! Very hard thing I must say!

Update ont he kiddos! Chesleigh got a 1 at UIL on her flute solo. She has cheer tryouts on the 26th! Ava placed 3 in oral reading at UIL she did poetry! Sam is running again doing soccer and lost his front tooth this week.( Tooth fairy forgot last night so he better show up tonight!!!) Larry is getting over the Flu! And Fletcher is just a big moose!! ALLERGIES!

Wow! I love this time of year but it does not like me!

SNOW!

Only in Texas!! Last week we were in shorts and today about 7 to 8 inches of SNOW! Yep the white stuff!

OMG! It is soooo cold here! So glad that the kiddos went to school! My ofice is closed so I may get some much needed work done here at home!

SLACKER!!

A few updates: Logan is STILL here! No job, no college, and says he is moving to Longview on the 29th! We will see!!!

Chesleigh should be getting her braces off in a month!! Cheer tryouts are in April and she wants to try out for Head!!

Ava Grace! Well she is so excited about the Miss America Pageant tonight!! We are so Proud of her! She sang in a talent show at her school on friday and she said she got the 2nd most claps!! The student who performed like Kris Angel got he most. She sang Taylor Swift's Love Story!! She She had a solo in the Church Christmas play! She was AMAZING! I know I am the mom but she is very talented!

Mr. Sambo!!! He has discovered video games! It took all of 7 years of me keeping them at bay!! Poppie is loving that connection!! As he would call it BONDING time!!
